Project overview

The diaspora is more than geography. Its identity, connection, and belonging spread across continents.
ADC was preparing to launch The Diaspora App, a platform designed to connect people in the diaspora to opportunities, conversations, and community back home. But launching an app like this required more than an announcement. It needed clarity, credibility, and a launch moment that felt meaningful to people both at home and abroad. Our challenge was to help ADC introduce the app in a way that felt intentional and visible across digital platforms, media, and a live launch event.

The Approach

We managed ADC’s social media platforms throughout the campaign, shaping content that clearly communicated the app’s purpose and value. Messaging was kept simple, informative, and community-focused, ensuring the app felt accessible rather than technical.
Targeted paid ads helped extend reach, while influencer collaboration added a trusted voice to the conversation. To strengthen credibility beyond social media, we also worked with newspaper publications,

Capturing/Documenting The Moment (in Real Time)

The app launch event was designed to bring the Diaspora Hub to life and our role was to make sure that experience translated seamlessly online.
We handled full event coverage, capturing key moments, conversations, and energy in real time. For those unable to attend physically, especially members of the diaspora, we delivered live streaming, ensuring the event remained inclusive and globally accessible. Post-event, we transformed the footage into content that extended the life of the launch, reinforcing momentum and keeping conversations active across platforms.
